Expressive and with a kinda surreal look comes this set of analogue photographs taken by M Van Koekje.
Along her creative work she wrote:
“This photo-set tries to represent the relationship between the extremist religion and the woman. It is a way of reclaiming the feminine figure in those religions that treat women as an inferior race.
The photographs get an reddish tone that is related to the color of the blood. I superpose the flowers because I think it is a very representative symbol of all religions.
In this case the religion is superimposed on a millennial woman who dare with her aesthetic claims all the female power.”
