Ilhem Ben Jaballah, Kristina Hernes & Whitnee King x Monique Hope – Feminism Is Not Dead

Australian fashion designer Monique Hope recently took part in creating this photo-story with friends in Milan whilst she was on a study exchange. In collaboration with Ilhem Ben Jaballah, Kristina Hernes and Whitnee King who took the photos, with styling by Trisha Punturi and MUA by Andrea Palomino they created this wonderful and powerful creative work. Modeled by Natalia Cebotari, Monique Hope and Joyce Kim.

“This little shoot was inspired by Girl Gangs and this is a little blurb I wrote about it:

Inspired by a gang of girls, the mood of this collection is fun, rebellious and feministic. It is cheeky and sassy, tongue in cheek and a little bit of middle finger too! This is the uniform of a new army of girl power.
The embellishments and finishings have a DIY look and feel as though a young girl and her friends could have customised their clothes in an act of rebellion. The aim of the collection is to encourage individualism and empowerment through unity.”
