We both envisioned a lazy afternoon amongst nature, drawing upon the dreamy aesthetic of The Virgin Suicides. The aim was to create a sense of nostalgia and the feeling of daydreaming.
This beautiful and dreamy series, shot on 35mm film, is a collaboration between photographer Ella Fitzgerald and model and musician Amy Dowdle.
Moreover, Ella wrote:
“Amy lives in Tallebudgera Valley on the Gold Coast, which is surrounded by beautiful trees and small lakes. Naturally we went on a little road trip to find spots we thought would be perfect for the shoot. We finished off the day by eating Karaage Burgers at Amy’s local (Japanese) Fish & Chip store.”
