“Foxy Girl” tells a story of Morena, as she searches for her place in the grey city environment. The city evokes feelings of aggression and defensiveness in her. She’s from the forest. The forest misses her too and they attract each other through their mutual longing.
A wonderful nostalgic photo-set of 35mm film picture by Bueno Aires based photographer Manuel Facundo Soria awaits you in this post.
Also he wrote us:
“I have been taking pictures since I was 15 years old. I started out teaching myself and a few years later I started my cinematography studies at a film school in Tucumán, in the north of Argentina.
I mainly take portraits. I photograph friends or people that I find interesting beyond how they look. I try to search for something inside the person through their eyes, generating a deep intimacy between the two. This is one of the reasons of why I always work with analog cameras. Because the shooting process is slower (than digital), it makes each picture count. I also believe that the final result, in a way, is more “real”, more close to the intimacy that I search in every shot.”
