“‘Grunge Beach’ pretty much sums up Designer/Stylist; Nisha Abeysekara’s vision for her Swim/Activewear label Liar Swimwear.
Our collaborative concept was to create a series of images that captures an almost hangover like relationship between the urban and the beach. Hair and make-up artist Torie Tye brought her incredible experience and unprecedented ability to understand and execute a vision to the mix and created these looks that that were stark, and bitter sweet. Annabelle Silk stepped into her role amazingly embodying this avatar that personified everything we conceptually hoped for; one minute innocent and bright and the next minute darkly seductive and dangerous.”
