Here’s a superb vintage-like editorial by photographer and stylist Jenny Heys Barlow from the UK. She took these cool photos of Lauren Lennon, who’s the model in this series, with much clothes from several vintage boutiques in Manchester and on 35mm film.
“So this shoot was based on thrifting, I’m a lover of vintage clothing and really do have a thing for finding one-off pieces. I wanted to create a persona of this fun, gorgeous girl that thrifts and does cool things. I love shooting people and managing to capture the real them so it was great fun shooting Lauren, playing dress up and styling her like that was her wardrobe.
I got inspiration from Saint Laurent and Vetements SS16 collections as they’re very much a mash up of different styles which I love, I tried to re-create a similar vibe of thrown together looks – outfits perhaps the average person wouldn’t wear.”
