Enjoy today’s really natural & autumnal editorial by the young artist Diana Ganea. ☆
“My name is Diana Ganea and I live partly in Copenhagen and London.I grew up in Denmark, which is why I am immensely influenced by the Scandinavian minimalism and design forwardness. That is reflected in my photography, where I tend to cut out all the unnecessary and focus on the raw and genuine moment happening in the photograph.
I try to bring fashion photography together with art, since art in my eyes brings depth to fashion photography. I don’t like shallowness. I like everything that has an authentic story to it – which is what I hope my work expresses.”
“Our teenage years are all about exploring. Our identity and our opinions. That’s what this editorial was all about. It’s about standing up to world and finding ourselves, who we want to be. The clothes are very outrageous; short skirts and bomber jackets.
Dare to be yourself. I think that was the thought I kept onto while shooting.”
