In this photo-series by Francesca Milano you discover something special for sure: open emotions, carelessness and of course the art of snapshot-photography. This editorial is really outstanding and colourful.
Francesca is really nice. We “met” her on Instagram some weeks ago. Also she was so kind to write a little something about herself and the idea of this editorial.
“I’m a stylist and photographer from Florence, Italy, now based in London where I moved in January, after graduating in Media and Communications. In London I finally had the chance to experiment and explore my interest for fashion and image-making in particular and I took some short courses at Central Saint Martins in Art Direction for Fashion, Fashion Styling and Fashion Journalism. I understood that I was really into the whole process of image creation, from the creation of the concept to the search of the model and location and the actual shooting and styling; so I took some time to try a personal project and to just improve myself in this direction.”
“I shot the editorial “Salad Days” in June with this amazing girl I virtually met months before and that I’ve been wanting to shoot ever since. I’m still a kid at heart and I always like to include some childish elements in my shoots; in this editorial I wanted to explore teenage hood in all its shades, the little rebellion and the actin’ like an adult. Things, that always still reveal a bit of the hidden child evoked trough some expressions or style choices.”
